All of the GXS Trading Grid infrastructure and applications are connected via an enterprise services bus (ESB), that enables them to communicate both synchronously and asynchronously.

Reliability, Availability and Serviceability

Leveraging both hardware and software standards, the GXS Trading Grid offers a distributed architecture that enables multiple copies of services and applications to be run in parallel. Key services are run in clusters, utilizing fault tolerant disk systems from EMC, and an high availability database configuration leveraging Oracle 10g RAC.
