Internships and Co-ops

GXS offers challenging intern and co-op assignments that not only offer students an opportunity to work for a leader in electronic commerce, but can also potentially lead to an offer of full-time employment. We offer the following intern and co-op opportunities:

• Summer Intern: A student who works full time, up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Casual Intern: A student who works part time, up to 25 hours per week, while taking at least 12 credits during the semester/trimester.
• Co-op: A student who works full time, up to 40 hours per week, for a six (6) month period and is receiving school credit for co-op.

We look for the following criteria and credentials for all GXS Intern opportunities:

• Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited College/University, taking courses leading towards a degree (i.e. Bachelors, Masters, or PhD).
• Summer interns must have taken at least 12 credits the previous semester.
• Casual interns must be taking at least 12 credits during the time that they are employed as a casual intern at GXS.
• Students must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher.

Many college majors are relevant for jobs at GXS; however, the following are the most common:

• Computer Science
• Computer Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Management Information Systems (MIS) / Data Information Systems (DIS)
• Business
• Finance
• Marketing
• Economics
