GXS, Inc. ("GXS") is sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet. We believe it is important you know how we treat the information about you we receive on the Internet.

TRUSTe is an independent, organization whose mission is to build a user’s trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. Because this Web site wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe.

In general, you can visit GXS on the World Wide Web without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. There are times, however, when we may need personal information from you, such as your name and e-mail address, in order to respond to an inquiry, process an order, or allow you to access specific account information. We may use personal information you submit online for additional business purposes, such as improving our internal processes or letting you know about our products and services. We may send you email communications for transactional purposes or if you choose to, you may receive our newsletter or other publications. You can opt out from receiving these promotional emails by clicking "unsubscribe" on the bottom of the email.

We may share personal information collected online with our affiliates, vendors and advisors who assist us in delivering our products, improving our business, and protecting our rights and property. Within certain portions of our website, an administrator representing GXS customers may be able to enter third party information related to the customer and its trading partners specifically to perform administrative functions on behalf of that customer. GXS’ use of such information is limited to use in connection with the offering and provision of GXS services.

We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these forums.

This web site is not intended for persons under thirteen (13) years of age. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from or about children, and we do not knowingly market our products or services to children.

Security and Access to Collected Information

We maintain strict industry standard physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized or inappropriate access. In addition, we will consider reasonable requests to review, update or delete the personal information that you provided through this web site that remains in our active databases. GXS customers with an account on Trading Grid Online can also log into their account and update their user information.
