Tandy Brands Accessories
Tandy Brands Accessories, Inc. makes and markets fashion accessories for men, women and children. Tandy Brands had been successfully using the TrustedLink® iSeries solution for more than five years to trade EDI with over 80 retailers. But when Wal-Mart mandated that it use the Internet and AS2 standard to do business, it quickly needed new technology. The BizManager BizLink was the perfect choice to integrate with the current system and satisfy Wal-Mart’s requirements.

Bsteel is the IT business unit of Shanghai-based Baosteel Group, the largest iron and steel producer in China. They deploy and manage Baosteel’s global B2B e-commerce strategies. Using GXS Enterprise Gateway and Trading Grid Messaging Service solutions Bsteel provides a unified platform for integrating Baosteel’s internal business units, customers and suppliers around the world to support data gathering, translation and integration into their forecast to payment supply chain execution.
CNH
CNH Global N.V. is a world leader in the agricultural and construction equipment businesses. The company has a very complex B2B network with approximately 11,300 dealers in 170 countries, more than 300 transportation carriers, over 10,000 parts, along with worldwide suppliers and 40 manufacturing facilities located throughout Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia. Partnering with GXS, CNH has been able to expand its B2B capabilities on a global scale and gain real-time communications and monitoring capabilities. Within a two year timeframe, GXS enabled CNH to go from managing 50 thousand document transactions per month to over 500 thousand documents per month. Managed by GXS mapping experts, CNH was able to develop common specifications and standardize every trading partner to 30 maps—reduced from 360 different maps.
Dell
Dell, one of the world’s top computer brands, was transitioning from internal manufacturing to original design manufacturers (ODMs) and expanding their global retailer channel, but the scope of the project outstripped internal resources. Dell turned to GXS Managed Services to integrate thousands of partners and consolidate their three legacy B2B platforms into one of the world’s largest integration cloud platforms, supporting five million transactions a day.
Deluxe Media Services
Deluxe Media Services supplies big names in entertainment such as Fox, Universal and Warner Brothers, with solutions for the manufacturing and distribution of packaged media. Its use of multiple EDI providers and older VAN technology made supply chain communication time-consuming and difficult to manage. Deluxe consolidated all of its EDI traffic to the state of-the-art Inovisworks™ from GXS. This enabled Deluxe to dramatically improve supply chain productivity and reduce costs across their European trading community.
Exelon Corporation
Exelon Corporation is a major electricity generator and operates the largest fleet of nuclear plants in the United States. Partnering with Exelon, GXS developed a Web Portal solution that allows Exelon’s suppliers to send invoice data and supporting documents electronically. Paper and manual processing of supply chain transactions are drastically reduced or eliminated and data quality is significantly improved.
Milwaukee Electric Tool
Milwaukee Electric Tool took an outsourced and expensive EDI solution in house with the award winning TrustedLink transformation software solution from GXS. The result was an easy to use system that significantly increased volume transactions while cutting out consultant and network service costs.
Mission Rubber
Mission Rubber Company, a division of MCP Industries, Inc., needed a cost-effective EDI and document exchange functionality to meet growing demand from customers—the manufacturers’ representatives and distributors it sells through. Oxford University Press (OUP) is one of the largest publishers in the UK. Its customers include major retailers like W H Smith and Amazon as well as wholesalers like Bertram Books and Gardners Books. Already a long-time TrustedLinks user, OUP turned to GXS and added Inovisworks when it was time to improve the speed and reliability of its communications networks.
Vermont Information Processing, Inc.
Vermont Information Processing, Inc. (VIP) provides business enhancing software applications to approximately 400 beverage distributors. These applications manage distributor inventory, orders, sales reports and financials. To interact electronically with customers, VIP implemented a full suite of integrated solutions from GXS. FedEx Corp., a premier global transportation provider, wanted to provide a single gateway to support all of their e-commerce transactions. They implemented a customized GXS solution to enable data exchange between computers of any platform at any time using any communication protocol.
Royal Mail
Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide and the Post Office branches use GXS Enterprise Gateway to share product catalogs, customer details, invoices and parcel tracking data between its own systems and external trading partners. EDI and XML transactions are exchanged with over 1000 trading partners and the Royal Mail’s SAP and Siebel systems.
