Course Description:
The course covers how to set up mailboxes and create trading relationships; send and receive EDI and non-EDI documents using several different techniques, and; set Enterprise system parameters. Develop an in-depth understanding of and how to use Enterprise FTP Server and the FTP Bridge.

Participants learn how to monitor Enterprise using Audit Log and other utilities; use the basic document-level tracking and reporting facilities, and; diagnose error messages and determine corrective actions.

Required Prerequisites:

• Familiarity with how to perform basic UNIX command-line operations, such as listing, copying and editing files
• Understand EDI basics
• Read the Enterprise System Concepts Guide and System Overview
• Be very familiar with your company business processes and EAI and EDI strategies
• Know your company's Enterprise System base software type and version to include a list of optionally purchased add-on products

Course Objective:
Participants will be able to competently know how to use the Support User's Web-based User Interface (WUI) and become familiar with the concepts and usage of various bridges, servers, gateways, and adapters commonly used to extend the integration message brokering capabilities of an Enterprise System. They will be able to set up for EDI translation using Application Integrator and the AI Bridge and perform Enterprise administrative tasks and operational tasks using a Support System User Interface and the UNIX command line.
