Course Description:
This course teaches students how to create, administer, and maintain the PIM application. Students will learn the importance of planning catalog organization, and will gain an understanding of how products are displayed within PIM. Students will be able to understand approval workflows, and assign users to workgroups in the approval process. Students will also learn how to create content-specific templates to maximize the consistency and efficiency of future content additions. The synchronization of product data is covered through exercises where students learn how to receive and associate products sent from their suppliers via a data pool or entered via the vendor portal.

Course Objective

Participants will understand how to input, create, modify, and administer product information within the Catalog, and also create User Groups, Workgroups, Workflows, and Trading Partner updates. This knowledge will enable customers to synchronize supplier data with their own product data in PIM.
