Global eXchange Services Joins RosettaNet Australia as First Solution Provider Member
Melbourne, Australia - 14 September 2004— RosettaNet, the leader in e-business standards for the high technology industry, today announced that Global eXchange Services (Australia) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Global eXchange Services (GXS) Inc., has joined RosettaNet Australia as its first Solution Provider and inaugural Advisory Board Member. RosettaNet is focused on the collaborative development and rapid deployment of e-business processes that align supply chain partners within global trading networks. By providing an open platform of standards and services, RosettaNet enables business-to-business (B2B) integration through the electronic sharing of information, made possible by the implementation of RosettaNet Partner Interface Processes® (PIPs®). RosettaNet standards offer multiple benefits, including reduced cycle time and cost, resulting in highly effective trading networks, operational efficiencies and investment protection. RosettaNet Australia, which held a formal launch ceremony today at its headquarters in Melbourne, is receiving unprecedented interest from the Australian market sector.
