GXS Acquires RollStream: Accelerating the Social Supply Chain

On March 29, 2011, GXS announced that it acquired RollStream, the leading SaaS provider of enterprise community management services and one of the more innovative startups to enter the B2B e-commerce and supply chain management market in recent years.

The acquisition deepens GXS’s commitment to the Social Supply Chain, a vision that brings together information flows and information workers to radically break down long-terms barriers hampering supply chain efficiency. A recent Customer-Centric Supply Chains Study found that 89% of companies believe that the flexibility of their B2B e-commerce program enables them to differentiate from their competitors on service. Using RollStream, procurement teams and vendor managers at healthcare suppliers, large retailers and tech manufacturers have accelerated supplier setup by up to 60 percent, from months to weeks.

There is no on-premises software to license, install or maintain.

Solution Availability

The GXS RollStream service is available today in North America and Europe and will be internationalized with available with local language support by first quarter 2012.
